The Suede Look

Suede is a type of leather with a soft, fuzzy, napped finish that comes from the underside of animal skin. It's often used for jackets, shoes, purses, furniture and other things that you may use on a daily basis. Suede is typically made from lambskin, but can also come from goats, pigs, calves and deer. Suede is softer thinner, and not as strong as full-grain, traditional leather.

Suede is one of those pieces that is great for the fall season and can be transitioned into the winter season. Suede is very beautiful. The downside with suede is that it is delicate which means it requires more care which means that it is difficult to maintain. Suede pieces get stained pretty easily and quickly. Suede is very susceptible to water stains and damage and fading. Also if you eat on a suede couch or while wearing suede you could possibly get grease stains on the suede piece which can ruin the suede piece. But no worries there are protective treatments that you can buy and use when wearing suede for the first time to help protect it from getting wet. Another downside is that suede can be a bit expensive. So you could possibly go the faux suede route.

Fall is just around the corner and suede is the perfect piece of clothing for the fall season. You might possibly already have a suede piece in your closet. So you don't have to go out and buy a whole bunch of new suede pieces. You can just start pulling out the suede pieces that you have from previous seasons so that you can wear it for this fall season and possibly transition it into the winter season. But if you don't have any suede pieces then you've come to the right place. Below are some suede pieces worth checking out.
