It is officially the summer season in the northern hemisphere. So you know what that means. It's time to start planning all your summer holiday/vacations. It's also time to start bringing out all of your summer attire or go shopping for summer wear if you don't have any. A perfect piece of clothing for the summer months is linen. Linen is a fabric made from the fibers of the flax plant, which is a woody stalk that grows well in cooler, humid climates.

The biggest reason linen is great for the summer months is because linen is breathable. Linen allows air to circulate which allows you to stay comfortable and cool when it is very hot outside. Linen is much more stronger and also more durable than cotton. Another great thing with linen is you can wash and wash it and it will still hold its shape. Also when washing linen you may notice that it dries a bit faster than when you wash cotton. A downside with linen is that it may look wrinkly and even if you iron it, it will still look wrinkle and stay that way as the day progresses but it is still worth having during the summer months.
