Some people like to plan out their fitness goals in the new year or prior to the new year so that they can start working on the goals when the new year begins. You don't necessarily have to purchase new workout clothing every time a new year approaches or every time you want to tackle your fitness goals. You can work with the current workout gear/clothing that you have. But if you don't have any or have worn out your current workout gear then it may be time to get some new ones.
Some of the fitness trends for 2019 will be yoga, taking group classes, HIIT (High intensity interval training) workouts, kickboxing will definitely be a big trend this year. Another big fitness trend will be shorter workouts and the use of fitness apps and streaming your workouts.
Going to the gym might not be for everyone so lots of people will maybe decide to tackle their fitness goals at home by working out by streaming a workout video or maybe a treadmill at home or other forms of working out at home.
