The ugly sneaker or the dad shoe also known as the dad sneaker is a look that started trending last season. It was very popular last season during NY fashion week, Paris fashion week, Milan fashion week and London fashion week. The trend was something you would see at most if not all the runway shows last season.

But what made it even bigger and trendier was that lots of girls were wearing the look during fashion weeks. Then the same ugly sneaker, dad shoe and dad sneaker started popping up all over instagram and youtube and other social media platforms.

Brands like Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton have helped create this trend and also have been instrumental in this trend being very popular. So it might be here for a little while longer. But is it a look that you'd try out. Or is it something you'd wear in your everyday life. Is it even something you'd want to spend a lot of money on. The answer is everybody is different. Everyone has a different style.

But just because something is trending this season or the next doesn't mean you have to run out and spend tons of money and buy into the trend. The trend is just a pair of sneakers that look bulky and sort of oversized.
