AIG Study: Americans Evenly Split on Sharing the Road with Driverless Vehicles; Hacking a Major Conc

American International Group press release -------- As cars and trucks move toward a more autonomous future, Americans are highly polarized as to whether to accept or reject them on the road, according to a study by American International Group, Inc. (NYSE:AIG). Safety of the vehicles, including the risk of hacking, are key concerns among respondents, while ease of driving and lower insurance premiums are seen as compelling benefits. AIG will release a comparison of the U.S. study with data from Singapore and the U.K. at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 in Las Vegas this January.
