Salesforce adds tools to identify at-risk patients to Health Cloud

HealthcareITNews ------ Salesforce.com announced an expansion to its Health Cloud here at the conference. The SaaS vendor is injecting new capabilities specifically related to helping care coordinators manage patient risk stratification through analytics. Both risk scoring and patient stratification will allow coordinators to more easily identify high-risk patients, using a personal risk score that informs effective patient communication, engagement, and management, according to Joshua Newman, MD, chief medical officer at Salesforce.
