EIA's January 2017 Monthly Energy Review
On January 27, 2017 the U.S. Energy Information Administration released its January 2017 Monthly Energy Review. The report includes statistics on total energy production, consumption, trade, and energy prices; overviews of petroleum, natural gas, coal, electricity, nuclear energy, renewable energy, and international petroleum; carbon dioxide emissions; and data unit conversions. The report is broken into the following categories: energy overview, energy consumption by sector, Petroleum, Natural Gas, Crude Oil and natural gas resource development, Coal, Electricity, Nuclear energy, Energy prices, Renewable energy, International petroleum and Environment. The report is intended for use by Members of Congress, federal and state agencies, energy analysts, and the general public. The report is prepared by the U.S. Energy Information Administration, Office of Energy Statistics, Office of Survey Development and Statistical Integration, Integrated Energy Statistics Team.
