A 9-5 represents a work week of between 35-48 hours depending on how the hours are calculated. In many traditional positions, employees are required to be in the office during these hours. For those who work a 9-5 it can become routine, repetitive, tedious and sometimes even boring. So I wanted to take a look at all the talk about the 9-5 being over and dying. When working a 9-5 time is used to measure productivity. The assumption is the more time you work the more you have accomplished by the end of the work day. But I think that you can get a lot done and just as much done without having to work a 9-5. It all depends on what you do with your time.
