Many companies are now offering their employees the option of working from home. But is this really a good idea. This may be hard to believe but coming into the office is still an effective way to make sure that tasks and assignments get completed. Coming into the office helps to keep the employees engaged with the company and everyone at the company. But for those who have a really long commute to work everyday working from home might be beneficial. For me when I tried working from home in the past there were many distractions, but you can still have distractions coming into the office everyday. Not all tasks and assignments can be done at home, so you will end up coming into the office from time to time. I think working from home is a great idea but it's also great to have that employee/employer face-to-face interaction.
