How To Guide For: A Look At The Louisiana flood -- How To Help The People Of Louisiana

Just recently this month the state of Louisiana was hit with prolonged rainfall which created catastrophic flooding. This is the worst US disaster since Hurricane Sandy according to the Red Cross. There are over 2,600 people living in shelters. Since there are a large number of homeowners without flood insurance that were affected, the federal government is providing disaster aid through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). So far a total of 13 deaths have resulted from the flooding and the death toll is rising.
