How To Guide For: Dealing With Wedding Guests That Invite A Plus One

I went to a wedding two months ago and there were two wedding guests that were invited and took it upon themselves to invite a plus one even after declining a plus one on the invite they mailed in and without informing the bride prior to the wedding ceremony. This created a problem when it came to seating the guests because there were not enough seats. Then when it came time to eat and food was placed on the table at each seat by a server there were two people who were not planned for. So last minute the bride had to scramble to get the chef to prepare meals for the two plus ones. Everyone felt so bad for the bride, because she should've been happy with low stress and celebrating but instead she was running around right before she was to walk down the aisle. Luckily everyone pitched in and was able to make the last minute arrangements for the two last minute guests. But this doesn't always work.
